Description
Ages 6 to 9 years Mr Ricket has a shed in the perfect place, or so he thought! Mr Ricket has built his shed near the park. He thinks it's a perfect spot for all of his inventions until balls and frisbees and all sorts come flying onto his roof! He can't concentrate at all! He decides to invent something that will solve his problem and let him get back to work.
Author Biography
Alice lives in East Hertfordshire with her two small children who provide lots of inspiration for her work. She writes for children of all ages but is particularly passionate about picture books. Alice is fantastic at events and particularly enjoys visiting schools. Alice is a proactive SCBWI member. Author of: The Black and White Club, Gold Star for George, Bibble and the Bubbles, Robopop, George and the New Craze, Rickety Rocket, Sheep on the Run! and Arlo, Mrs Ogg and the Dinosaur Zoo Ed Myer was born in Manchester in an artistic household; nearly everyone in his immediate family works in creative industries. He went on to get a degree in Ceramics at a university, but realised that it was drawing that really mattered for him. He is now based in London, and when not working on commission, he enjoys travelling, playing computer games and walking his little Jack Russell Ted.
