Description
Ages 3 to 8 years Winters are cold in the stone age, but stone doesn't make very comfy underpants and Pod's bottom is cold! Winters are cold in the Stone Age and Pod wants to keep his bottom warm, but what could he make underpants out of? He tries everything he can think of and is about to give up when he spots a little wooly mammoth, whose wool will make the perfect pair of underpants!
Author Biography
Rebecca Lisle has written over 25 books for children. She's been a waitress (she loves food), a cat sitter (she loves cats), a dog walker (dogs are adored too), a biology teacher (yes, she likes nature and things) and an office worker. She didn't actually much like office work, just the desk and all the bits that go with it. All of these experiences and passions she mixes with huge dollops of imagination to produce readable, fun and exciting books. Author of: Stone Underpants and Game of Stones. Richard Watson is an Illustrator based in North Lincolnshire. He studied for a degree in Illustration at Lincoln University and has been working on children's books since graduating in 2003. He has worked for a wide range of clients around the world, producing artwork for children's picture books, doodle books, sticker and colouring books as well as many others. He is an avid reader and collector of many different kinds of books, and from a young age has always been fascinated and inspired by the stories and artwork contained within the pages of a good book. Although his work is mainly produced digitally he is also a keen sketcher and painter and a few of his other interests include photography, wildlife and music. Richard is represented by The Bright Agency. Illustrator of: Stone Underpants, Clumpety Bump and Game of Stones.
