Patrick 'Snowhunter' Thorne has been a writer most of his life. He worked as a journalist and editor before setting out on a quest to ski every skiable location on the planet. Patrick went on to build the most extensive database of skiing destinations in the world, compiling more than 6,000 areas in 80 countries - a database that today lies behind many of the world's ski-related websites and literature. As well as writing for publications worldwide, Patrick has himself been featured in many articles and his work has been sold to top resorts around the world.
