Author Biography

Carole Ryan has worked in the field of the conservation and conversion of redundant rural buildings for most of her forty years of working life, either as a Principal Conservation Officer in a Local Authority, or as an Historic Building Consultant/Senior Lecturer. She is recently retired, but still a practising Conservation Officer.
