Description
Star knitter Sue Stratford's new book is packed with friendly faithful dogs and puppies for you to knit. Suitable for beginners, but with projects to provide a fun challenge for more experienced knitters, this book contains 23 patterns. The dogs cover a wide range of styles from the quirky to the fun to the more true-to-life; and while some like Danger Dog are fun toys, others have a more practical purpose, like Stripy Sausage, the dachshund draught excluder.
Author Biography
Sue Stratford is one of our most successful and popular authors, having already published six books with Search Press. She owned and ran The Knitting Hut in Woburn Sands, Buckinghamshire, UK. After ten successful years, the shop has closed to give Sue more time to concentrate on her design work. Sue is inspired by lovely yarns and likes working with natural fibres. She regularly exhibits at fibre and textile shows around the UK and teaches classes on a number of different techniques. She lives in Milton Keynes with her long-suffering husband, five children and numerous animals. Visit her website www.suestratford.co.uk.
ReviewsAug 2014 Sue is a knitting superstar well known for her toy designs. Knitted Meerkats is just one of her best-sellers - could this new book be better? We think so. Some designs are off-the-wall while others are more realistic, so there's something for every taste. We love the outdoors doggy in his coats and wellies, and the unusual dachshund draught excluder. * Knit Today *
