Author Biography

Martin Cheek graduated in Graphic Design from Exeter College of Art & Design and started out working in film animation and teaching. He has worked full time as a mosaic artist since 1985, completed major public and private commissions around the world, and written four previous project books on mosaics as well as contributing to numerous magazine articles. He also teaches the craft of mosaic, both in Britain and other countries around the world. He lives in Ramsgate, Kent.
