Description
Have you met Margot? She is cheerful, helpful and kind - the very best kind of friend! It's a marvellous day in the big city. The sky is blue, the sun is shining, and Margot has made a delicious cake for her best friend Oskar! Margot takes her little red wagon and off she goes with cake in tow. But by the time she reaches Oskar's house after having helped all her friends along the way, will there be ANY cake left to share? A story all about empathy which shows that kindness and cake is always the best recipe for friendship.
Author Biography
Lou Peacock (Author) Lou Peacock is lucky enough to have one of the best jobs in the world: 'Publishing Director of Picture Books' at Nosy Crow. She has a degree in English Literature from Oxford University, and over twenty years' experience in children's publishing. She started her editorial career working on novelty books, but has focussed on picture books and poetry for the last 15 years. She often puts her author hat on to write picture books for Nosy Crow and has a notebook full of scribbled ideas. Ingela P Arrhenius (Illustrator) Ingela P Arrhenius graduated from art school in the early 90s and has been working as an illustrator ever since. At first, she worked in advertising and magazines, but her focus over the past ten years has been on products and books. Ingela has created patterns for fabrics, wallpaper and stationery, as well as packaging and home accessories. She has also collaborated with several toy producers around the world and her love of retro style, typography and colour is reflected in all her work. Ingela lives in Stockholm with her husband (an author) and two sons.
