Author Biography
Geordie Torr is a freelance writer, photographer and editor based in Winchester, England. After studying at the University of Sydney and James Cook University, he worked on Australian Geographic, National Geographic Traveller Australia & New Zealand and was the editor of Geographical, the magazine of the Royal Geographical Society, for eight years. Since going freelance, Geordie has traveled the world, publishing articles on a variety of subjects. His recent books demonstrate his extensive breadth of knowledge, and include Pythons of Australia, Discovering Planet Earth, and The Templars.
