Description
Becoming and being sober requires more than just willpower and the abstinence from alcohol; it is about skilfully living with an intention of cultivating balance, calm and rest on an ongoing basis. We know from emerging science that the secret of success is hidden in our routines, so Love Your Sober Year will show readers how to develop healing routines for alcohol-free growth using the seasons as their guide. Positive, upbeat, empowering and reflective, it is for all sober or sober curious readers, and it calls on the wisdom of nature, the seasons and moon cycles to support and respect the transitions of our lives as women and provides a holistic approach to wellbeing and sobriety. Using the year as a framework, it explores old wisdoms, new science and the female experience and is packed with tasks to shift mindset, questions for reflection, nervous system regulations techniques, menstrual and hormonal health tips as well as gratitude and intention-setting exercises. It is designed to be a constant companion for inspiration, reflection and planning to help the reader along their sober journey towards personal development and intentional living.
