The book is written very well, taking into account both beginners and more experienced sewists. The designs are very well photographed, and the instructions are really clear and easy to follow. There is a wide variety of designs, and the techniques for woven or knitted mending are quite decorative. The only thing that seems to be missing is any tips on how to stop the material used for patching on the woven sections from fraying.
