Author Biography

Darla-Jane Gilroy is programme director in the School of Design and Technology at London College of Fashion. She was previously course leader of the Cordwainers Footwear and Accessories BA and senior tutor in footwear and accessories at the Royal College of Art, and as a fashion designer her work has been exhibited in the V&A. She lives in London.
