Description
This tongue-in-cheek book doesn't take itself too seriously. With guides and anecdotes, tips and lists, Grind reveals everything from how to make a great burger at home, to how to politely bail on a bad date, find flatmates that don't suck and buy and drink wine like a grown-up. This book is really a guide to city living, divided into chapters - Morning, Day, Evening and Night. Interwoven, you'll find recipes for everything from your first Flat White of the day, One-Pan Eggs for brunch, Sticky Coffee Pudding for dessert, right through to the last cocktail before you call it a night. Not to mention, it includes Grind's infamous Espresso Martini recipe - regularly name-checked as the very best in London. Each of the recipes includes a great story or anecdote from a decade of living, eating and drinking with Grind in London.
Author Biography
Since 2012, Teddy Robinson has been building the future of coffee at Grind, having started while a student at Central Saint Martins. Today, Teddy plays a broad role, overseeing e-commerce, brand, and the vision of Grind's future. Grind is a cult coffee brand from London, with cafes across the city serving coffee food and cocktails. Since opening of Shoreditch Grind in 2011, Grind has grown to become one of the most influential eating and drinking brands in Europe. Today, millions of cups of Grind coffee are enjoyed around the world - in Grind own cafes, Soho House's members clubs and hotels, and at home with compostable coffee pods for Nespresso machines.
