Packed with fascinating facts, quirky scientific revelations and weird stories about our furry friends, this is a must for animal-lovers, grown-ups and kids alike. Vital questions answered in Dog-ology include: Why do dogs fart (but cats don't)? Can dogs diagnose diseases by smell? Why do dogs tilt their heads when confused? Is one dog year really equal to seven human years? Are dogs capable of abstract thought? Why don't dogs sweat? Why do dogs wag their tails? What does your dog hear when you talk to him? The perfect book for the dog lover in your life, Dog-ology goes where no pooch has ever gone before!
Author Biography
Stefan Gates is a dog lover, TV presenter, renowned science communicator and author of Fartology as well as eight other books. He specialises in explaining weird and wonderful science with wit and clarity. He has presented over 20 television series and appeared on hundreds of others, and his acclaimed Gastronaut shows are performed at high-profile science events across the world. His dog Blue loves chasing balls even more than he loves licking his unmentionables, and only very occasionally does a poo in the spare room.
