Description
Kate Thompson - glamorous housewife turned-MP - surprises everyone with her meteoric rise at Westminster. When Kate is sent as a trade delegate to India, she hopes it will be her moment to shine. But her efforts embroil her in a dangerous world of intrigue and betrayal... Billionaire Deepak Parrikar - head of India's largest arms technology company - finds himself magnetically drawn to the beautiful British MP. When political hostilities with Pakistan hit boiling point, they are tasked with easing the military tensions. But as their relationship deepens, a sinister shadowy organisation threatens more than just their efforts. As they race to prevent disaster, they must fight to save themselves amid a deadly game of rivalries and broken allegiances. Open Arms is an explosive thriller which circles from Whitehall to the slums of Delhi. Cable's sweeping tale combines unrivalled political detail with international intrigue, desire, and the quest for power. An electrifying debut.
