Jenny Broom (Author) Jenny Broom studied Fine Art at the Slade, before becoming a w riter and editor of children's books. She lives and w orks in London. Katie Scott (Illustrator) Katie Scott graduated from University of Brighton in 2011. Her w ork draw s influences from traditional medical and botanical illustration, both in aesthetic and subject matter. Her w ork plays w ith the ideas of scientific uncertainty and speculation, fabricating the inner and outer w orkings of the w orld. Her illustrations depict a familiar yet fantasy vision of plants, humans and minerals.
