Author Biography

Claire is a textile designer specialising in knitting and crochet, constructing fabrics, garments, creatures and accessories that are fun, quirky and modern. She designs and sells a range of knitted accessories, toys and garments under her website Monty Knits (montyknits.blogspot.co.uk). She has also written Easy Baby Knits, published by CICO Books, made puppets for music videos, contributes patterns and articles to craft magazines and books, and writes, edits and consults on craft books as well as exhibiting her own work. Claire runs knitting classes for adults and for children of all levels and abilities. She is currently based in Cambridgeshire.
