For those not au fait with the How to Draw series these books all follow a similar pattern making it possible to draw even quite complex subjects. The first step is shown in grey, with each subsequent step adding details in brown. Once the outline is complete there is a picture showing it shaded in graphite, with a final option shown in coloured pencil. Note that the term "beginner" is not present; anybody daunted by the final two steps might be better off getting a book on learning to draw before tackling this title. This book will appeal to anybody who is already familiar with the basic techniques but wants to have a go at drawing something new.
