Linda Newbery has written for young readers of all ages, and is a winner of the Costa Children's Book Prize, with two shortlistings for the prestigious Carnegie Medal as well as many other nominations. Linda lives in a small village in north Oxfordshire with her husband and two cats. She loves yoga, reading, gardening and swimming. Her books have been translated into fifteen languages and she enjoys travelling overseas to speak at schools, libraries and festivals.
