Description
Who were the best pro wrestlers of all time? What makes these 50 remarkable performers so special, and what were their contributions to the massively popular spectacle of wrestling? The 50 Greatest Pro Wrestlers of All Time has the answers. Bestselling author Larry Matysik shoots from the hip about who qualifies as the very best in history. The complexity of choosing and ranking the 50 finest from a strong group of talented candidates also reveals a secondary tale about the evolution of pro wrestling and how this unique sport operates.

Reviews"[Larry Matysik] continues to be the most underrated story teller in pro wrestling today and this book once again proves it." -- The Wrestling Press "For more than 20 years, Dan Murphy was my go-to guy when the editors came up with the outline of a good topic but needed someone with the depth of thought to flesh it out. With this amazing book, Dan once again proves to me that he is a writer's writer." -- Stu Saks, publisher of Pro Wrestling Illustrated "His decades of experience provide a unique perspective that should command high regard for his rating system...Matysik does a masterful job capturing the aura of a bygone era while bridging old school and new school." -- The Post and Courier "Matysik's book offers something for the current WWE fan and for folks who enjoyed watching "Wrestling at the Chase" or bouts at Kiel Auditorium and the Arena. -- St. Louis Post-Dispatch "A must-have for any wrestling fan." -- 411 Mania
