Bongani is too small to attend school. But that won't stop him from helping by Catch a Crow to stop them eating crops. Join him in this story about teamwork! Quickly! Quickly! Catch a crow. Bongani has accepted that he's too small to attend school just yet. But he also doesn't want to be chasing the animals away on his own either. He decides he needs a scared crow to help him do this important job. Luckily his family are there to school him in the lessons of the difference between being quick and being clever to catch a crow.

Born in Zimbabwe, T. M. Clark completed her primary school years at boarding school in Bulawayo. She attended senior school in South Africa, where she lived in the boarding school hostel as her home. She began writing fiction in the UK while a stay-at-home mum to her two sons and she hasn't looked back. Now living on a small island near Brisbane in Queensland, Australia, T. M. Clark combines her passion for storytelling with her love for Africa. Her first novel, My Brother-But-One, was shortlisted for the Queensland Literary Award 2014. She is also the author of novels Shooting Butterflies, Tears of the Cheetah and Nature of the Lion, as well as a novella, The Avoidable Orphan, and a children's picture book, Slowly! Slowly!, a 2018 CBCA Notable Book, which are companion books to her novel Child of Africa. Readers can find T.M. Photo credit: KWC Design Helene Magisson started her artistic career as a painting restorer in Paris, where she was also trained in the art of medieval illumination. Helene has lived in Africa, France and India and she is now settled in Brisbane with her family. In 2013, Helene started a new career in children's book illustration. Since then, she has illustrated several books including classics such The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams Bianco and more contemporary stories like Slowly! Slowly! by T.M. Clark, which was a CBCA 2018 Notable picture book of the year.
