Description

One day, Pann the Panda is relaxing and eating his favourite bamboo when he hears some exciting news. He has been chosen to represent his animal kingdom on a visit to Australia to see their zoos. Pann is leaving the next day, so he must start packing! The other animals eagerly give him advice on what to pack, such as an umbrella to shield Pann from sunshine and rain, comfortable shoes, a beach chair, and more. What else should Pann bring with him? A story about thoughtfully preparing and packing for travel.
Author Biography
Born and raised in Chongqing, China, Shiyin Pan had a dream of writing a series of children's picture books with a panda bear main character. After relocating to Australia and giving birth to a baby girl, Shiyin found some free time in between taking care of her household and reading stacks of picture books to her adorable daughter. Her dream of writing a panda bear story came true. Pann the Prepared Panda is her first children's book and will be the initial title for her Pann Panda series. || Margaret Tolland is an artist from New Zealand, whose illustrations are packed with detail. Through her work, get closer to the habitats and lifestyles of the many species, both flora and fauna, that she explores with an eye on environmental education. With twenty years' experience in visual arts education and working in a gallery, Margaret now illustrates full-time.
