Description
If you're looking for new ways to explore Australia's rugged and remote landscapes, Ultimate 4WD Tracks: Australia features 40 of the best driving tracks in every state and territory. Travel writer Anthony Ham offers up a selection of popular tracks within easy distance of major cities, such as Red Centre Way and K'gari (Fraser Island), as well as bucket list trips like Gibb River Road, Birdsville Track and Oodnadatta Track. With tracks of varying difficulty levels, even first-time drivers can find an adventure to suit their needs and skill level. For each of the 40 tracks there are detailed descriptions, suggested itineraries, images and maps, making this both a practical and inspirational book to help you discover new pockets of Australia on four wheels. Thanks to Mark Nannup for reviewing First Nations content for this publication.
