Author Biography
Award-winning writer, journalist and author Penny Watson has travelled the world, written feature articles for countless magazines and newspapers, and researched a number of guidebooks, including Hong Kong Precincts (2015), London Pocket Precincts (2019) and Slow Travel (2019). She is currently working on Ultimate Campsites: Australia. Penny lived in Hong Kong for six years and returns two or three times each year. The city has become one of her niche writing topics - when she returns it still feels like home. She is a member of both the British Guild of Travel Writers and Australian Society of Travel Writers. She currently resides in Melbourne with her partner Pippy and their two children Digby and Etienne.
