The first Hide & Seek Melbourne book was published in 2009 and since then we've brought you five more Melbourne books in the series, with total sales of over 30,000 copies. The Best of Hide & Seek Melbourne is our big 'hooray' edition in a larger format to celebrate the very best of Melbourne's cultural, shopping, food and nightlife scene. And we've made sure to stick with our core values of featuring local businesses that perhaps don't get much attention, but are still fantastic places to discover. This book picks out our favourite spots from the six existing books, with a few newbies thrown in for good measure. There are also suggested itineraries and the extremely coveted Hide & Seek awards, such as the 'Best neighbourhood bar with killer cocktails' and the 'Best meal to satisfy both the gourmet and bogan in all of us'. The jacket folds out to reveal a handy map pinpointing all 100 places featured in the book.
