Kathy Janz was born in Brisbane, Australia, but early in her childhood, she moved with her family to the Netherlands. After studying at the University of Amsterdam, she made her career in marketing. Kathy's love of handicrafts never left her, however, and once her three children were grown she decided to start a business of her own.
