Description
It's the showdown you've been waiting for, just not the one you expected! Will a Maximal-Predacon alliance be enough to defeat a new enemy that threatens both teams? The Beast Wars rage on! After the Maximals' assault on the Predacon base, both sides are looking for a win. But they find more than they anticipated, as a treasure trove of energon and the secret behind the aggressive mutant animals that inhabit the planet are unveiled and the Children of the Vok make themselves known! Can Optimus Primal and Megatron bring their teams together, or will Cheetor, Nyx, Waspinator, Blackarachnia, Rattrap, and the rest fall one by one? Plus, before the epic climax, see how the Cybertronians spend their days, with three stories of life away from the front lines! Collects Transformers- Beast Wars issues #13-17, plus the 2022 Annual.
Author Biography
Erik Burnham is a Minnesotan writer and artist that first broke into comics by way of the Nick Landime feature from Shooting Star Comics. This led first to other anthologies and then work for IDW Publishing, up to and including his critically acclaimed work on the Ghostbusters line of comic books and, later, the official Tobin's Spirit Guide. Erik's been fortunate to work with many companies in the last few years, including Cryptozoic, Dynamite, IDW, Insight Editions, Marvel, and Panini on properties such as Ghostbusters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Back to the Future, Galaxy Quest, Scarlet Spider, New Warriors, Red Sonja and KISS-with more on the way (which is good news, because he loves his work). Erik still lives in Minnesota; any rumors about this being because he's completely afraid of the forty-nine other states (and Canada) remain unverified at this time.
