Author Biography

Sam Blackman is associate sports information director at Clemson University. Blackman has worked extensively publicizing the school's various sports for more than thirty years. He is a Clemson graduate and earned two master's degrees from the school. Bob Bradley served as Clemson's sports information director (SID) for thirty-five years (1955 89) and subsequently helped manage the Clemson SID office on a daily basis. He saw countless athletic events, including more than 500 consecutive Clemson football games. In November of 1988, the press box at Clemson Memorial Stadium was named the Bob Bradley Press Box. He is a member of the Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame and the state of South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame. He is a member of the Clemson Football Ring of Honor. Bradley passed away in 2000. Chuck Kriese coached the Clemson men's tennis team from 1975 to 2008. He ended his career as the ACC's winningest coach and is now the head tennis coach at the Citadel. He is a member of four halls of fame including the Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame as well as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Hall of Fame. At Clemson, he was a four-time national coach of the year. He has written six books on Clemson athletics and tennis. Will Vandervort is an award-winning sportswriter who has covered the NFL and Division I college football, basketball, and baseball for twenty years. He currently works as the senior writer for TheClemsonInsider.com. A native of South Carolina, Vandervort has covered Clemson University Athletics for for fourteen years.
