Author Biography
Dr. Anthony Stanowski, DHA, FACHE has been in healthcare management for more than thirty years. He is a Vice President for AMS, Inc., Collingswood, New Jersey, an organization that aligns hospitals and physicians through a gainsharing program. Prior to AMS, Anthony was the Vice President of Healthcare Industry Relations for ARAMARK where he implemented an innovative fellowship program in which Raheela participated in 2010-2011. Anthony also held management positions with Thomson Reuters Healthcare Division and several Philadelphia area academic health systems. Anthony serves as a board member on the Bon Secours Baltimore Health System, Baltimore, Maryland, where he chairs the Quality Committee. He is on the American Hospital Association's Committee on Governance. He is Chair-elect of the Board of the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education. He was named a Beryl Institute Scholar for 2013-2014. Anthony holds a doctorate degree in Healthcare Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina. He has graduate degrees from Drexel (Marketing) and Widener (Health Care Administration) Universities and a bachelor's from the University of Pennsylvania (Communications and Psychology). He is board certified in healthcare management as a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
