For fans of Dragons Love Tacos comes a fresh, funny story that deals with everyone's least favorite thing: a cold. Is your dragon sleepy? Does he have a runny nose? Does he keep sneezing fire? Unfortunately, it sounds like your dragon has a cold. But luckily, this guide will help anxious dragon owners through the challenges of caring for their sick dragon! Balancing tongue-in-cheek humor through Charles Santoso's illustrations with gentle reassurance, this story proves that laughter really is the best medicine and will appeal to anyone who has felt under the weather.
Author Biography
Rebecca Roan works in the book publishing division at Highlights for Children. She is a recipient of the PEN New England Children's Book Discovery Award. The inspiration for Dragons Get Colds Too came from her years of being sneezed on by tiny dragons. This is her first picture book. www.rebeccaroan.com Charles Santoso loves drawing things in his little journal and dreaming about funny, wondrous stories. He has illustrated several picture books, including Ida, Always, written by Caron Levis, which was mentioned in the New York Times as "an example of children's books at their best," and The Snurtch and I Don't Like Koala, both written by Sean Ferrell. He has also illustrated Wishtree, a New York Times bestselling chapter book by Katherine Applegate. www.charlessantoso.com
