Author Biography

Bill Gardner is the president of Gardner Design, which has produced design and branding work for Cessna, Spirit AeroSystems, Kroger, Hallmark, Cargill Corporation, Busch Gardens, Wichita State University, RedGuard and many others. He is the founder of LogoLounge.com and the co-author of the affiliated book series. He is also the author of Logo Creed: The Mystery, Magic, and Method Behind Designing Great Logos, a foundation book for students, educators, and professionals alike, and multiple LinkedIn Learning courses about logo design.Sarah Whitman has been a writer and editor in the graphic design industry for 25 years. She worked as an editor for HOW for 16 years and served a short stint as editor for PRINT. She also planned programming for HOW Design Live -- four concurrent, annual, national conferences drawing 3,000-plus graphics designer attendees and nearly 100 speakers. Sarah has managed publications focusing on health and wellness and innovation and startups. She currently creates content for the design and health care industries.
