Description
Share My Journey has four focal points in my eyes, but it was not intended for me to dictate the readers' experience, only a narrative. It was created for the reader to explore and discover whatever situation or relationship that those particular passages bring to mind. Gratefulness and gratitude, a glimpse into my world, (my mind's eye) of the greeting and appreciation for every day. All of the opportunities it continuously offers for us to give thanks, never missing an occasion to list out loud why we are grateful. No reason is ever too small. An expression of loving, caring, kind, and encouraging words from a mother to her young son. Intentional words to instill confidence, self-assurance, strength, and an unbreakable bond of love. Doctor's notes, my gift to the doctors and nurses that displayed their stellar qualities of care for myself as well as others. I wanted to highlight their individual contributions of how they inspired me, and how grateful I am for our encounters. And last, but certainly not least, is reflection. It is where the scenes spoken of has applied to everyone, or some particular point will, and if not, you know someone who has dealt with a situation similar. These are the areas approached and embarked upon, but my challenge to the readers is go even further and allow yourself to truly feel all of the emotions showering you. To acknowledge, accept, respect, and value your emotions is a true form of release. Laugh, cry, reminisce, allow nostalgia a few moments of your time etc...
