The author lived in the country in Italy in 1999 so see what life would be like without any distractions. Things got lonely and she learned about who she was and what mattered. She shelved the book and worked on movies and houses, eventually getting brain cancer and learning how to read and write again(badly), Found the manuscript in the computer in 2020 and finished it.
