Author Biography
Lola joined Paula Zavrl's family when her father passed away in 2009. She quickly became a very large part of their lives. When she began to get older and couldn't go on walks, they bought her a stroller and started taking her for long walks around Boston. She loved it. Paula really started to notice how much of an impact she had on everyone she met. Their travels with Lola taught Paula and her family a real lesson about kindness. Paula could not think of a better way to share what a special girl she is and the importance of just taking the time to stop and say hello. Julie Murphy grew up in wonderful, historical Boston, which will always have a very special place in her heart. Now, she makes her home with her family in magical, sunny California, drawing and painting among the butterflies and hummingbirds. She'd like to thank everyone who has been on any part of this amazing life journey with her. Julie would also like to say an extra special thank you to Paula, for writing this beautiful book, her family, who is always there for her, no matter what, and always, to Jacey - the beautiful soul she is so lucky to love and grow with every day. And to you, dear readers, she hopes you enjoy this book as much as she enjoyed making it! Remember that you are at home wherever you go because you carry home in your heart.
