Description
The landscape is littered with the corpses of great products and strong companies that died because of crappy marketing. Why do so many companies fail so miserably? Why do high-priced ad agencies and marketing firms keep spitting out stupid campaigns? Too many in business have failed to recognise the shift that has happened right under their noses. It's not so much that people have changed, it's that the business landscape has changed - dramatically. For the first time in human history, we have no unmet needs. Every problem has a solution and many companies now find themselves creating solutions that appear to be looking for a problem. In his provocative and enlightening new book, VISIBILITY MARKETING, David Avrin shows what marketing approaches work, which don't and why. You will learn how to uncover your true competitive advantages and a process to craft messages and tactics that achieve tangible results. A remarkably accessible, relatable, thought-provoking reference book, VISIBILITY MARKETING speaks directly to business owners, entrepreneurs, marketing managers and sales professionals. With wisdom gleaned from hundreds of presentations and workshops and conversations with tens of thousands of company leaders, VISIBILITY MARKETING will forever change how businesses and professionals look at the competitive landscape and how they promote themselves.

ReviewsDavid Avrin is breath of fresh air, giving you the real truth on what your marketing needs to win! If this book were a western, David would be the sheriff who challenges bad marketing to a showdown!!! --Jeffrey Hayzlett, primetime TV & podcast host and chairman, C-Suite Network-- "Reviews" David Avrin's book is absolutely spot-on. His message of adding value and truly being the best at what you do, rather than merely being one of many who are 'competitive, ' is essential to success in today's marketplace. Please don't settle for just reading this book. Do what it says, and see what a difference it will make in your business. --Joe Calloway, author, Be The Best At What Matters Most-- "Reviews" David Avrin's engaging and irreverent new book highlights the mind-numbing commodity of business marketing today. His conversational, often blunt, and irreverent style makes Visibility Marketing a book that keeps you engaged and challenges your preconceptions of what works, what doesn't, and why. --Shep Hyken, New York Times best-selling author, The Amazement Revolution-- "Reviews" Perhaps the highest compliment one can pay a thought-leader is to simply say that they 'get it.' These words tell you everything you need to know and should act as a not-so-subtle suggestion that you should listen closely to what the thought leader has to say. David Avrin gets it, and when you read his book, you will too. If you don't, read it twice. I did. --Bruce Turkel, CEO, Turkel Brands and author, Building Brand Value-- "Reviews" With his hard-hitting and usable advice, David Avrin has become a lynchpin advisor to the success of our business. Chances are you're going to hate hearing some of the sobering truths he has to tell you in this book, but it might be what makes or breaks your entire business. It has for ours! --Rory Vaden, co-founder of Southwestern Consulting and New York Times best-selling author, Take the Stairs-- "Reviews"
