Author Biography
Rebecca Rissman is a yoga teacher, nonfiction author, and editor. She has written more than 200 books about history, culture, science and art. Her book Shapes in Sports earned a starred review from Booklist, and her series Animal Spikes and Spines received Learning Magazine's 2013 Teachers Choice forChildren's Books. She lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband and daughter, and enjoys hiking, yoga, and cooking.
