Author Biography

Lew Nichols is the owner and operator of the Vershire Cidery in Vermont. He is co-author, with Annie Proulx, of Cider. Annie Proulx began her writing career in the 1970s as the author of several books on country living topics, including Cider. More recently, she wrote the Pulitzer-prize winning novel The Shipping News, as well as numerous short stories, magazine articles, and nonfiction books.
