Description
Each recipe in this book has (as Twitter mandates) 140 characters or less. Author Maureen Evans (whose partner Blaine Cook was the lead programmer on Twitter), already a microblogging sensation, has been featured in "The New York Times", as well as on NPR and in the Associated Press, for her wonderful range of recipes and the ingenuity she shows in condensing them into short but soulful haikus for the kitchen. This one-stop compendium of food ideas features recipes from around the world, as well as comfort food staples, versions of classic dishes (Julia Child's Boeuf Bourguignon, anyone?), and kitchen tips. From Lemon Lentil Soup to Strudel Pastry, it's like a shelf of cookbooks in one (tiny) volume. The book will also include many cooking tips and techniques - never to exceed 140 characters. Recipes will be cross-indexed so that readers can combine them to create entire meals.
