If you've heard of the plastic-free lifestyle, but think you don't have time for it in your busy life, prepare to be delightfully wrong. Goodbye Plastic shows you how, whether you're seeking to knock plastic out of your life or just try out a few novel eco-hacks in your kitchen, bathroom, office or dining room. Plastic pollution activist and entrepreneur Sandra Ann Harris invites us to say goodbye to plastic, room by room. Opportunities abound to simplify our lives by re-thinking our wasteful habits--we just need to learn to recognize them.

ECOlunchbox innovates and sells high-quality, plastic-free food container solutions. She lives in the San Francisco Bay area with her family.
Reviews"What Sandra Harris has accomplished in this book is to provide the practical guidance we all need to transform consumerism to align with our values about how we treat each other and the world around us. We all know that a shift must happen, but we do not always know how to get there. Say Goodbye to Plastic shows us how." --Marcus Eriksen, Executive Director, 5 Gyres Institute "In a world filled with plastic, it's hard to imagine you can really say goodbye to the stuff, but Sandra Harris shows it's not only possible--these days, it's surprisingly easy to bid adieu to much of the plastic we use, thanks to a now bountiful market of plastic-free goods. As founder of her own plastics-alternative company, ECOlunchbox, Harris is a knowledgeable, practical and compassionate guide, showing room by room how to de-plasticize your home and life." --Susan Freinkel, author of Plastic: A Toxic Love Story "An important book at an important time. This book helps illustrate the irrefutable crisis we are in. But it's not all doom and gloom; it is a book about hope and possibility. This is an uplifting guide to living more gently with less impact and with less plastic. This book provides real, actionable advice, step by step, room by room! Each and every one of us can make a difference, and this book shows how we can live more and with less plastic." --Jeff Delkin, founder of Bambu "Plastic pollution isn't an abstract concept. It can become very personal, very fast. Sandra's response was to push back on the tide of plastics in her life, searching for solutions to move her from feeling angry and powerless to feeling empowered. As a pioneer, social entrepreneur and activist, Sandra focuses on inspiring and growing the now global "goodbye plastic" movement. Sandra provides many insights and easy-to-take steps so you can easily move from feeling assaulted to joyful about joining the global community working to solve this very big problem." --Sharon Rowe, founder and CEO, Eco-Bags Products "Sandra Ann Harris' uplifting plastic-free memoir and how-to guide makes saying goodbye to plastic an exciting eco adventure full of discovery. Say Goodbye to Plastic absolves us of paralyzing guilt and offers easy practical tips that will add up to make a huge difference for our ocean environment. Her book encourages us to think "what one thing" can each of us do to eliminate plastic pollution. Refreshingly missing from this book are harsh judgements and insistence on an unobtainable, over-the-top strict, zero-waste lifestyle in which an entire family only produces one jar of waste every year. While inspiring, such lofty goals can sometimes lead to eco guilt, which can lead to inaction. We can all do at least one thing easily!" --Jo Fleming, Executive Director, California Green Business Network "This is such a practical guide to reducing plastic at home and on the move. After 12 years of tackling plastic pollution in our ocean, I know that the solution starts on land...and this book will show you how to make personal changes that can make a difference." --Emily Penn, founder of eXXpedition and SHiFT
