Author Biography

James C. Roberts is the founder and president of Radio America, an award-winning news/talk radio network with more than 400 affiliates. He hosts a weekly program featuring one-on-one interviews with authors, politicians, journalists, and other policy shapers. He is the author of The Conservative Decade and has edited several books, including the recently published Fifty Years of Freedom: The Best of Human Events. He has written articles on various aspects of the game of baseball for the Washington Times, the Washington Post, the National Pastime, and other publications. He lives in Great Falls, Virginia. Connie Mack was a professional baseball player, manager, and team owner. He is the longest-serving manager in Major League Baseball history and holds records for wins (3,731), losses (3,948), and games managed (7,755).
