Description
For the first time ever, these powerful and informative DVDs offer viewers a complete, live-action demonstration of the core processes of the new and revolutionary acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Starring ACT founder Steven Hayes, these videos offer insight into the experience of real ACT sessions from the points of view of both the therapist and the client. With more than 6000 new therapists being trained every year, ACT is one of the fastest-growing therapies around.Whether a new or experienced practitioner, viewers of these videos will receive the best introduction to ACT practice short of an experiential workshop conducted by a senior level trainer. Never before has such a comprehensive series of psychotherapeutic training video been undertaken. These six programmes cover all of the core processes in this new and exciting model. Compared to other professional training videos on the market, "ACT in Action" is very affordable. Students and new professionals will be able to add these important new videos to their personal libraries for little more than the cost of two graduate-level textbooks.
