"Turning Troubles Kids Around"is an easy-to-use manual for busy educators that is based on three broad concepts: problem, solution, and plan of action. These concepts, in turn, are expanded into a series of steps.
Step 1 explains the problem: students and their relationship to alcohol and other drugs. Step 2 proposes an answer to any problem that flows from this relationship: the student assistance program (SAP). Finally, Steps 3 through 9 lay out a plan of action you can use to get a Student Assistance Program up and running.
