A special team of highly regarded specialists is put together to do specialized research on Space Station America to assist the United Stated in finding solutions to environmental deterioration problems and assist the United States in regaining its position of control of outer space. After launch control of their space ship is taken over by a foreign power and unable to control their vehicle and unable to communication with Space Station America or NASA they find themselves hurdling through space. God (Gus) contacts them only with the words to "Not be Afraid". After days and weeks their space ship is heading toward a planet in another universe and the people of that planet take control of the space ship only to provide a safe landing on their planet. They go days without learning of the people of this special planet, only learning that the planet is inhabitable with fresh air, water and gravity. They finally meet the people on the planet and the adventure proceeds through twists and turns until they finally become part of this special group of people and their planet, along with increased association with Gus. The differences between this new planet and Earth and the lives of the people are described along the way.
Author Biography
Terry Smith started his professional career after serving for two years in the U.S. Army and completing his MBA at the University of Texas at Austin. His working career was in financial and general management in healthcare, mergers & acquisitions and general business, plus teaching in a graduate program in these fields for over 30 years. He is now retired living in El Paso, Texas. Gus is his first book.
