Description
The Big Steps series is designed to help little ones cope with everyday experiences in their lives. In No More Dummies, two adorable toddlers learn all about ditching the dummy and learning to find comfort through fun and play! Follow the ups and downs of their journey, brought to life with fun flaps and mechanisms. Each page has really helpful tips for parents and carers that are endorsed by The Good Toy Guide and leading Early Years Consultant, Dr Amanda Gummer. With delightful illustrations from Marie Kyprianou, No More Dummies is a brilliant way to support the process of giving up the dummy in a fun and relatable way. For more toddler tips read No More Nappies, Let's Wash our Hands and I'm Starting Nursery. The Big Steps series has been endorsed and recommended by Dr Amanda Gummer's Good Toy Guide.
Author Biography
Marie Kyprianou studied Plastic Arts and Modern Literature at the University of Avignon (south of France) before becoming an illustrator. When she is not drawing, Marie has all kinds of passions, including textile creation, decorating, design, good wine and funny people. Her additions to Campbell's bestselling Big Steps series, Let's Wash Our Hands and No More Dummies, are her first books for Campbell Books. Dr Amanda Gummer is a research psychologist specializing in child development, with over twenty years experience working with children and families. She has set up three organizations - Fundamentally Children, FUNdamentals and the Good Toy Guide Ltd - all of which promote the value of play and positive parenting in child development. Amanda is frequently in the media and on expert panels for child-related issues, as well as being the British Toy and Hobby Association's spokesperson for their Make Time to Play Campaign.
