Author Biography

Gaby Morgan is the Editorial Director for Non-fiction, Poetry and Licensing at Macmillan Children's Books. She has compiled many bestselling anthologies including Read Me and Laugh: A Funny Poem for Every Day of the Year, In My Sky at Twilight: Poems of Eternal Love, Fairy Poems - which was short-listed for the CLPE Award - and A First Poetry Book with Pie Corbett. Axel Scheffler is a huge star in the world of children's books, and has illustrated many bestsellers including the award winning The Gruffalo. Axel is also the illustrator of wonderful novelty and gift books, such as Axel Scheffler's Noisy Jungle and his soundchip Buggy Buddies series. He was born in Hamburg, and now lives in London with his partner and young daughter.
