Originally from a small town near Leeds, Hannah Tolson moved the long long way down to Falmouth, Cornwall to study illustration by the sea. After graduating in 2013, she now still lives and and continues to illustrate there. Bold colours, playful compositions inspire Hannah. In The City is Hannah's second book for Bloomsbury, following the beautiful A Christmas Advent Story. Holly James is an Irish writer who always dreamed of living in the big city. Now, she lives in one of the biggest cities in the world, London. She loves to travel around and explore every day - there's always something fun and exciting to do! When she's not writing or on urban adventures, Holly goes to the theatre, knits and dances ballet. In the City is her first book with Bloomsbury and Holly is very excited to be writing a book for little ones about her true passion.
