Author Biography
Working at a school (and having two of her own children) gives Michele Jakubowski more than enough experiences to draw from when writing middle-level fiction. Michele has also written other popular books in the Sidney & Sydney series and the Perfectly Poppy early chapter book set. Michele lives in Powell, Ohio, with her husband, John, and their children, Jack and Mia. Federica Frenna was born in Agrigento, Sicily, in 1990. After studying at the Art Institute of Sciacca, she attended the Academy of fine arts in Palermo for graphic design. Federica worked as a freelance graphic designer until the age of 25, when she turned her attention to digital art and illustration. Federica now works as a Illustrator.
ReviewsA plethora of engrossing adventures await readers. In addition to the page-turning "Choose Your Own Adventure" element, readers are also given the opportunity, after the first chapter, to choose what type of genre they want to explore (e.g., "Snow White" but with a spy thriller twist or set in the Arctic). . . .Mostly entertaining but with thoughtful elements, these titles will circulate well where fairy tales and the "Choose" format are popular.-- "School Library Journal, 9 Nonfiction Series for Back-to-School Reading"
