Description

A Proposition For The Comte - Sophia James After years of an unhappy and bitter marriage, cautious Lady Violet Addington is intrigued by the Comte de Beaumont. His air of danger, mysterious scars and pure sexuality pose a temptation that's hard to resist. Threatened by her late husband's enemies, she makes a daring proposition: in exchange for the Comte's protection, she'll join him in his bed! The Makings Of A Lady - Catherine Tinley Lady Olivia Fanton is eager to prove she's no longer a child. However, just as she thinks she has found a suitable match in suave Mr Manning, charismatic Captain Jem Ford walks back into her life, bringing with him all the embarrassment of her infatuation four years before! She's determined to appear mature, distant, friendly. But dare she hope he will notice her as the lady she's become?

Author Biography

Georgette Heyer novels formed Sophia James's reading tastes as a teenager. But her writing life only started when she was given a pile of Mills & Boons to read after she had had her wisdom teeth extracted! Filled with strong painkillers she imagined that she could pen one, too. Many drafts later Sophia thinks she has the perfect job writing for Harlequin Historical as well as taking art tours to Europe with her husband, who is a painter. Catherine Tinley writes witty, heartwarming Regency love stories. She has loved reading and writing since childhood, and has a particular fondness for love, romance, and happy endings. After a career encompassing speech and language therapy, NHS management, maternity campaigning and being President of a charity, she now works for Sure Start. She lives in Ireland with her husband, children, and dog, and can be reached at www.CatherineTinley.com as well as on Facebook and Twitter.
