Mat Gilfedder is a Senior Research Scientist with CSIRO, and an Adjunct Senior Fellow with the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences at The University of Queensland. Mat chairs the national steering committee for eBird Australia. Stephen Debus works as an independent ecological consultant, and is an honorary research associate in zoology at the University of New England, with a lifetime of published studies on Australian raptors.
