Author Biography
Abie Longstaff is the eldest of six children and grew up in Australia, Hong Kong and France. She knows all about squabbling, chaos and bossing younger sisters around so she logically began her career as a barrister. She started writing when her children were born and lives in Hove with her family. Abie writes for children from picture books to older fiction and is best known for the Fairytale Hairdresser series. Shane Crampton was born in St. Andrews, Scotland and spent her childhood years growing up there, as well as in Aberdeen and the Shetland Islands, before moving to sunny (sometimes) Cornwall where she still lives with her husband, four sons and their two ridiculous dogs. Shane was encouraged from an early age to embrace her creativity as much as possible by both parents and graduated from Falmouth University with a BA (Hons) in Illustration. Her work is a mash-up of scribbling, painting and digital techniques.
