Author Biography
Adam and Charlotte Guillain sometimes write together and sometimes on their own. Their book Spaghetti with the Yeti was shortlisted for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize, Oscar's First Book Prize and the Sheffield Book Award and Treats for a T. Rex won a GOLD Practical Pre-School Award. Sharon Davey was born to a strong northern family and spent all family occasions under the table drawing characters and tying people's shoelaces together. With a brief departure into set and costume design, lasting 15 years, Sharon has always drawn, created and illustrated. Her work includes Do Not Disturb the Dragons. If she's not at her desk working you can find her drinking tea and baking cakes.
ReviewsWritten by favourite authors, these are well worth collecting and are just the thing for children ready for reading. -- Andrea Reece * Lovereading4kids * My six-year-old, THE BOSS has just found her reading rhythm... THE BOSS got her hands on Bloomsbury Young Readers and suddenly, her reading took off. These are proper stories that are a manageable step up from picture books, while keeping all the colour and fun. -- Leisa Stewart-Sharpe * My Book Corner *
